      Dependable Income for An Evergreen Pioneer

My commitment to Evergreen is in the form of a life income gift. It provides me with a steady, dependable check that I can rely on as part of my retirement income. It was important to me in times of ever changing market prices to have some of my financial circumstances be so unchanging. That's one of the best things about an annuity.

Another satisfaction I enjoy is to know that my contribution will eventually go to the Evergreen Fund for Innovation. My late husband, Byron, was a member of the founding faculty that helped plan Evergreen's unique curriculum. All of those involved with him knew that creation and innovation must be constantly nurtured. My gift and the gifts of many others have created an endowment to support faculty in their ongoing quest for excellence. Evergreen is not a static institution nor can the people be so who teach there.

My view of Evergreen into the future is quite special. I see it through the eyes of my son and daughter, both of whom are alums, and my granddaughter, who is currently a hard-working and happy student there! Through them I can begin to imagine the generations of faculty and students who will be touched by what I and so many others have chosen to do. Please join me!
